Olive & Co is starting things off with a gourmet hot dog, dressed with your choice of fixings, and you can add their house-made chili on top. It comes with waffle fries or a Caesar salad.
At Chef Charles Bistreaux, Chef Charles, decked out head to toe in Grambling red and gold, is running three burgers for game day: the Bistro breakfast burger, an all-natural shrimp burger, and a steak and Swiss burger on garlic-toasted sourdough.
"We have several specials on Sunday," says Myron at Not Ya Maw Kitchen. "We have fish with macaroni or seafood rice. We have red beans and rice. We have gumbo. If you want it, we got it. Who dat?"
Alex at Lin's Poke & Sushi is rolling a Sunday-only order of sushi bites: six pieces, three salmon and three tuna.
The bar is ready too. Sean at Roch's Reprieve is pouring the game day classic: an ice-cold Bud Light with a shot of Buffalo Trace on the side.
At Salted Pearl, the plan is simple. Raw oysters on ice, a shrimp po'boy, and a Saints win.
Smash Dat NOLA is serving the Western Smash Burger, stacked with onion rings and jalapeños, with vegan and veggie patties available for anyone skipping the beef.
And Dolma is loading up game day fries: a full plate topped with tomato, cucumber, red onion, and your choice of gyro meat or chicken.
The market opens at 7 a.m. on Sundays, and the whole hall is pulling for the black and gold. Come hungry, wear your colors, and who dat.
