- 3 Brother’s Burger Pit Stop

Nat and Crystal Washington and their three sons have a full on restaurant in St. Bernard, Family Cajun Kitchen. Here they’re just doing burgers and fries. That’s significant because that’s never been able to be done before at St. Roch Market because of the hood vent and friers are in the back.

Their “Stall” is in the back. It’s just a order kiosk screen by the back door by their seasonings and merch. You order your burger from the kiosk and they’ll get the order in the back, make up those burgers, and bring it all out to you.

- The Salted Pearl

Micha Martello was the executive chef of Charlie G’s in Heritage Plaza in Metairie if you remember that restaurant. He won lots of awards for his seafood back then. Since then he’s been doing Fete au Fete you know in the market. But now he’s returning to his seafood roots running the oyster bar in the market.

He’s got of course raw and chargrilled oysters. On the menu are other seafood dishes like smoked tuna dip, and lobster mac and cheese. He’s also got those huge classic New Orleans seafood towers. What’s cooler than splitting one of those in St. Roch Market.
